Choose Your Shade Based on Tonality
What is tonality?
Tone refers to the warmth or coolness of a color.
Gold or caramel (Warm) — color that adds golden highlights/tones.
Red or chestnut (Warm) — color that adds red highlights/tones.
Ash (Cool) — color that has no red or gold highlights/tones.
Neutral or champagne — color that has no warm or cool tones.
When choosing a haircolor shade, keep in mind your natural skin tones. You'll look best in haircolor that complements your natural skin tones.

Cool — If you have fair skin and blue, green or gray eyes, consider choosing shades with cool or neutral tones.

Warm — If you have golden, olive or dark skin with dark eyes, consider choosing shades with warm or neutral tones. Warm haircolor shades are great if you want to brighten hair that has a tendency to look mousy.

(Note: Color swatches displayed on your monitor may not accurately reflect true shade.)
