HOW TO USE

Follow the simple step by step instructions below to get up to 8 weeks of natural-looking colour and resistant grey coverage!

• PREPARE TO colour

  • Do skin allergy test 48 hours before each application even if you have already used colouring products.
  • Use an old towel to protect your clothing and household surfaces.
  • Have a clock handy for timing.
  • Read the in-box instructions to make sure you are familiar with grey Solution application. Then you’re ready to begin.

• PRE-TREAT DRY HAIR

  

  Before colouring, apply the grey Solution Retexturizing Pre-treatment to dry hair, all over from roots to tips.

  • Do not rinse! Wash hands. Begin colour preparation - Step 1.

• 1. MIX

  
  • Put on Professional colourist Gloves.
  • Tear off and discard the tab from Activating Creme bottle (2b), then unscrew the applicator bottle cap.
  • Empty entire contents of the colour Creme tube [2a] (previously opened for Skin
    Allergy Test) into the Activating Creme bottle [2b] and replace cap.
  • Place gloved finger over the applicator tip. Shake well, holding away from face,
    until colour is totally blended and mixture thickens. Apply colour immediately.

• 2. APPLY

  

  For Root Application

  Ideal for users who colour every 4-6 weeks to help maintain your grey defying colour and ensure even colour root to tip.

  • Part your hair down the middle and apply the colour mixture to your roots, using the applicator nozzle to separate your hair into sections and continue applying the colour to your roots only. Save the remainder of the colour to use for the rest of your hair.
  • Leave the colour on your roots for 20 minutes or for 5 minutes less than the time indicated by your Strand Test.
  • Then use the remaining colour and gently work through the rest of your hair, but avoid rubbing into the scalp. Leave on for an additional 5 minutes.

  For All-Over Application

  Use these instructions if you have not coloured for 3 months or if you want to change your haircolour.

  • Squeeze Activating Creme bottle [2b] to apply colour onto hair. When covering grey, start where you have the most grey.
  • Part your hair into small, even sections using the applicator nozzle.
  • Apply colour first to your roots then immediately through the length of your hair. Work through hair to spread evenly, from root to tip, but don’t rub into scalp.

  Tip: Do not worry if the colour of the mixture on your hair looks different from your desired colour.

  • Once you have finished applying the colour, leave it on hair for the time indicated by your Strand Test or 25 minutes.

• 3. RINSE AND CONDITION

  
  • Add a small amount of warm water and massage into a lather. Rinse until water runs clear.

  Tip: For optimal colour results, leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water.

  • Save remaining colourSeal Conditioning Gloss and continue to use once a week (after shampooing) in place of your usual conditioner for optimal colour, shine and softness. Our colourSeal Conditioning Gloss helps seal in beautiful, natural-looking colour and adds intense shine!

  Tip: For best results use a quarter-size amount for each application
