I can't believe my hair turned BLACK! I bought this product which I thought would be easy to use and the same color as other brands. I was wrong!! My hair is now black and the foam was a mess! I will never purchase this brand again....It was the worst product ever! 01/31/12

Hated it! I did not like the Foam at all! It was very runny, and messy, and the color was nothing like I expected, I have medium blonde hair, and I wanted to go a little darker, and it turned out red! my hair is normally ashy and now it is red. I cannot wait to be able to re dye it with a better product. I would not recommend this product. 01/30/12

Most Natural Healthy Black Hair As a natural dark blonde with neutral coloring I decided to dye my very light blonde hair black. I stayed black for 3 years and my hair grew shoulder length and shiny using Clairol Natural Black every 6 weeks. It gave me wonderful natural highlights after a few weeks, but still remained very beautifully rich and dark, this ever slight fading it made it look natural. Everyone thought it was my own color. Although I am now back to blonde (thanks to Clairol as well) I loved my hair this way and never strayed from using Clairol Natural Black. I highly recommend this shade to those who are naturally black or those just wanting to go darker it works like a charm. FYI: For those blonde who are brave enough to go dark first you need to put the red back into your blonde hair. To get from blonde to black, I first I used Natural Instincts in a red Spice light Aburn color over my blonde hair, and then the next day I used the Clairol Natural Black. It looked amazing. 01/30/12

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I bought this product for $4 at Big Lots and wasn't really sure what to expect... I decided to dye my hair this afternoon, and I AM IN LOVE! I was really skeptical when I started applying the product and saw all the blue-ish black color on my hair! But it rinsed BEAUTIFULLY and I could not be happier! I have been dying my hair lighter brown and even with the ash brown colors I still end up with a brassy finish. This color is a shade or 2 darker than my natural color and so far I am not seeing any redness! I hope Clairol NEVER EVER does away with this color! 01/29/12

STEP-BY-STEP TO DIMENSIONAL COLOR

Follow these step-by-step instructions to achieve the long-lasting, dimensional color that will bring out the naturally beautiful you. Always remember to do the color safety check before starting to color:

1. PREPARE TO COLOR
- Always remember to do the color safety check before starting to color.
- Put on the Expert Colorist Gloves.
- Tear off and discard tab from the Color Blend Activator applicator bottle, then unscrew the applicator bottle cap.
- Open Color-blend Formula bottle and pour contents into applicator bottle.
- Replace applicator bottle cap.
- Place gloved finger over applicator tip, and shake well until the color has totally blended and the mixture has thickened.
- Immediately apply the color to your hair.
2. Apply color
- Part your hair into small, even sections using the applicator tip.
- Apply color first to your roots and stubborn grays.
- Work through hair from root to tip to ensure full saturation, but don’t rub into the scalp.
- Leave on for 25 minutes or the time indicated by your Strand Test.
Tip: If your grays are really stubborn, it may be necessary to leave color on for up to 45 minutes. For Ultra Light Blonde shades, leave the color on for up to 45 minutes as well.
3. Rinse and Gloss
- Add a small amount of warm water and massage into a lather. Rinse until water runs clear.
- Apply the ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss to condition and lock in highlights and shine.
- Save remaining ColorSeal Conditioning Gloss and continue to use once a week (after shampooing) in place of your usual conditioner.
