Tips & how to use

How to use

1. APPLY LIGHTENING MIXTURE
Pat dry hair into 4 sections and use plastic clips to secure in place. Start at the darkest part of your head (usually at the back.) Make narrow1 /4 inch parts and squeeze the applicator bottle to apply lightening mixture only to new growth at the roots. Do not overlap lightening mixture onto previously lightened hair. Continue until the new growth at the roots of all sections is evenly covered with lightening mixture. If any lightening mixture gets on your skin, wipe it off with a damp paper towel.
2. TIME
Leave lightening mixture on your hair for half the length of time indicated by your Strand test. Body heat from the scalp accelerates the lighting action by making the new growth lighten in less time.
Check the progress of your blinding from the first section of hair applied with the lightener mixture. Wipe a strand with a damp paper towel. If your new growth at the roots has not reached the level of lightness that matches your previously lightened hair ends, reapply the lightening mixture to the same strand at the root area and continue checking every 5 minutes until you reach the lightness desired.
Add warm water to the unused lightening mixture in the applicator bottle so it will rinse easily down the drain. If lightening mixture is stored in a closed container, the container could burst.
3. RINSE, SHAMPOO & CONDITION
Thoroughly rinse the lightening mixture from your hair with warm water. Shampoo hair. Apply the Moisture Intensive Conditioning Creme evenly to hair. For deep conditioning, leave on for 2 to 5 minutes. To keep hair shiny week and week, use the Moisture Intensive Conditioning Creme once a week after shampooing.
Rinse and style your hair as usual. Discard any unused lightening mixer.

WHAT TO EXPECT
First, do a strand test to find out your optimal blonding time. Darker starting colors will go through more stages of lightening, so don’t worry—you may see orange red or gold tones during the process. This is natural; simply leave the mixture on longer to remove unwanted tones. To lock in color and shine, apply ColorSeal Weekly Conditioning Gloss once a week after shampooing.
FIRST TIME BLONDING?
If so, you should apply the lightening mixture to your roots last. Heat from your scalp will accelerate the lightening process, so your roots will need less time to process.
